My name is Hillary and I am a recent graduate from Plattsburgh State University in Upstate New York. I have been working with pets and pet owners for the past four years, and I find it so rewarding to be able to make a difference in their lives. My husband Mike and I share our lives with our puggle, Jax, and our three rescued cats – Juno, Orchid and Marla. I enjoy fostering kittens, despite the challenges that come along with newborn kittens it is incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and find loving homes. I also have a bearded dragon, two leopard geckos and a gerbil – I love animals of all sizes and species! I am thrilled to be working in the Champlain Valley to promote responsible pet ownership in tough economic times. I believe that pets add something uniquely special to our lives, and I think all pets deserve to be loved and well cared for.  When I’m not working I enjoy kayaking, hiking, camping, musicals, reading and writing poetry. I am looking forward to working with volunteers to make a difference for pets and pet owners in my community!
